Abdirahman Gaas, PhD
With over 13 years of experience in civil society, I have honed my expertise in organizational leadership, team building and coaching, and communications management. My research work spans social, economic, and political issues, and I am the proud author of “Yoolasha Horumar Waara” (Sustainable Development Goals) in Somali. In addition, I have authored several academic papers on topics such as regional integration, regional politics, and sustainable economic development.
I hold a Doctorate in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy from Euclid University, specializing in Horn of Africa Regional Integration. I also possess a Master of Arts in Development Studies. As a certified trainer and coach for the Leadership Challenge® program, I bring international business and diplomatic protocols knowledge.
As a workshop facilitator, I lead sessions for the Building Resources in Democracy, Governance, and Elections (BRIDGE) program. Only my love of reading rivals my dedication to research, which is both driven by a positive outlook on the future.
